Elmibit, a vineyard management software platform provider, will, in the scope of the EUHubs4Data project, develop a Vineyard Finance Intelligence module to provide several vineyard KPIs.
We are pleased to announce that our proposal VineproData was selected as one of the Experiments on the EUHubs4Data 3rd open call. VineproData uses several Datasets related to vineyards, such as grape production and weather data, to develop a new module called Vineyard Finance Intelligence (VFI) using advanced data processing methods and machine learning. The new module VFI will enable grape growers to calculate several performance indicators, allowing them to act on time by adjusting vineyard management. Moreover, the VFI module will allow grape growers to compare quality KPIs of different seasons and their performance compared to the rest of the industry.
EUHubs4Data is an EU-funded project with the aim to build a European federation of Data Innovation Hubs based on existing key players and connecting with data incubators and platforms, SME networks, AI communities, skills and training organizations, and open data repositories. A European catalog of data sources and federated data-driven services and solutions will be made accessible to European SMEs, start-ups, and web entrepreneurs through the Data Innovation Hubs.
To build and market the final product within the VineproData experiment, Elmibit will lean on the following DIHs from the EUHubs4Data project:
- 4PDIH – is a one-stop-shop for providing and acquiring knowledge, business ideas, and technology expertise focused on building digital competencies, enabling digital transformation, and co-creation of digitization national and international policies.
- EPCC – is one of Europe’s premier High Performance Computing (HPC) centres. Based at the University of Edinburgh, EPCC is a focal point for expertise in high-performance and novel computing, Big Data, and High-Performance Data Analytics (HPDA).
- Know-Center – is a leading European research center for Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Data-driven Business.
